Todd, ideally like Anders said would be easy w/ radio out. Now, how easy your particular radio comes out is another story but may get away without it :o) Anyway, if you take out the dash fascia screws again so can pull fascia out just 3/4" or so, you'll have enough room to get the heater control rod's swivel ends back on the heat control dial again. Would do it by feel through drivers side speaker hole. Hint: turn both heater dial and heater valve all the way counter-clockwise so the tabbed rod will mate/line up properly. Another idea: if you just pull fascia out again and dab a little silicone on the heater dial portion (so rod won't quickly fall off but still removeable) could then reassemble fascia and concentrate on getting the heater valve side connected - at least you can see and more easily reach that through the speaker hole. Good luck, it'll be fine.
