doing a similar trick but both 1986 cars.... dropping an SPG engine into an 86 notchback, so both r LH2.2.
the injector wiring harness is identical from car to car except for the A/C temp sensor in the upper rad hose - the notchback was not A/C'd so doesnt have those two leads (sticking out anyway...).
i am transferring the complete dash from the SPG into the notchback, in order to get the transducers, etc . also swapping the complete fusebox and both engine bay looms in order to get the APC wiring and a few other things down there...
note that the S's may not have come with the rear muffler heat shield, so try and grab that from the donor car or buy new. special clip-in nuts are needed to anchor the heat shield to the body.
Check the condition of the long heat shield in the S as it may be burned thru. I hope you got the turbo down-pipe and the mounting bracket to the tranny, and you may want to do a complete exhaust system swap as turbos are 2.5 or greater and S's are 2" and i've read that turbos dont like back pressure.
My S is pre-drilled to accomodate the oil cooler as well as that rear heat shield.
Keep us informed - projects like this are fun but challenging!
