Up grade to a high flow exhaust be it a 3” or a 2 ½ “ with no cat and a very high flowing muffler (in my case I have a 2 ½” with no cat and no muffler, in place I have 2 very high flow resonators, Sounds cool but loud under hard boost). Change out you FPR to a 3.0 bar (you can get them at the junkyard off any 900 base or 900S, they are cheap, on the net they are $57.00, that is nuts). Lose the factory air box. Go to a K/N type air filter (but does not have to be a K/N). Remove the screens from the AMM (I know this sounds crazy but trust me it helps airflow). Change the settings in your APC to let your turbo make more Boost (not hard to do, search this board for the info). Set your base boost to 6’ (again not hard to do). Timing, there are many different ideas on this. In a turbo timing is important (I am at 15btdc, this is not what most say is the best but in my case it makes max boost there). There is also a disturber mod you can do (this I have not done, search the board for info). I have done all this to my 88 C900T. I am safely boosting 2/3 into the red (for real) and it spins the tires in the first 3 gears (and I have wider tires then stock to try and keep it hooked up, almost slicks). This car has 200,000 miles on it and it is a blast to drive but also is a good daily driver. All this is cheap. Most it tuning changes. Hope this helps.
