Brake light out Posted by Joe [Email] (#444) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Joe) on Wed, 6 Oct 2004 05:30:57 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a 1992 Saab 900S Convertible with 55,000 miles and in good condition. Recently, while following my wife in the Saab, the brake lights were working as she stopped ahead of me in traffic. At the next traffic light, I noticed that the right rear brake light was no longer working. Upon inspection, I checked that all other lights worked - driving lights, turn signal, reverse lights. The left side rear lights all were working. I replaced the dual filament light bulb for the driving/brake light. The driving lights still work but replacing the bulb did not solve the brake light problem. I'm at a loss as to what to check next. Since it is just the right rear side brake light and not the driving light, I wouldn't think it would be the fuse. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
