Battery drain dilemma

I've got this nagging battery drain on my 1981 900T, it's a pretty large drain because it will deplete a fully charged battery overnight. I've followed some suggestions from here on how to narrow it down using a test light. I found that if I pull the number 7 fuse which is for interior lighting the test light goes down to a real dull glow then if I remove the hot start relay the test light is completely dark. I tried unplugging all the interior lights and making sure the door switches were solidly screwed in, but it didn't seem to make any difference. The hot start relay also worries me as I have no idea where to check for fault in that (bad relay maybe?). Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
