i've got a procedure (from townsend i believe) on testing the power locks on my 90 convertible. while testing the connector below the fuse box, i've got the following concern. i cannot trigger the locks so it may be the ECU but...
the procedure states that i should have continuity between two leads from the microswitch and continuity between the two leads. depending on which way the tumbler is turned with the key.
HERE IS MY QUESTION: should this coninuity be only when turning or when its in that position. i have 100% continuity locked and then 100% continutiy opened and do not get the no-continutiy in neutral. it's either one way or the other.
if this is in error i think my microswith toasted my ecu...posible?
