At 150K it is many small and big things that MIGHT??? break down so it's no use worrying about the fuel pump.
They last from 100 to 200K and even longer. It not a set (or average) dead line for failure.
If your Saab mechanic has a lab scope and a milliamp clamp he can actually look at the performance of the fuel pump and maybe see if the pump is going out.
Left picture is from a failed fuel pump that I got to run by giving the fuel tank a knock with my hand. Each tower is one reveloution (showing 7 turns) of the pump motor and it shows a burned spot on the commutator and worn brushes.
A pump that starts to go bad will show similar pattern but maybe not as drastically.
Right picture is from the new pump and the full screen shows less than one reveloution of the pump motor.
