I wouldnt mind looking at a pic to double check. So do you think what I have rigged up for the alt ground is OK? I dont have the timing set yet because I didnt have the time yet (werid). I wont be at the car till this weekend. I think setting the timing will give me trouble becuase I need to adjust the distributor to get it started, then adjust to a different position to make it run better. But I will get it set and then deal with it from there. Thanks for your help. I just want to have some options and things to do when I get at it. No I havnt checked CE codes. Will def do that. Oh yeah. Having the spark plug wires wrong has haunted me in the past. But it casued no start issues. Where can I double check that. I always thought that it went 1,2,4,3 starting at the top and going clockwise.
Thanks for your help guys. Im getting very excited to start driving this car. I have done all new front end suspension including control arm bushings, bearings, rebuilt axles, new rack, new seals and new parts and rubber all over place. strong motor with great tranny. motor mounts. on and on. it is such a rewarding feeling do to this work and drive such a fun car. this is my 4th one..of many more to come.
