Im trying to track down my idle probs on a car ive recently rebuilt. All new vacum lines, throttle, aic very clean and fresh. At first it wouldnt fire up right and took alot of effort with the gas pedal and luck. I was happy the car started atleast having been completly dissasmebled. Changed AMM and it starts up like a gem but has a very strange idle problem. It def not vacuum related, it seems almost electrical in a way. but i am certainly no expert. I dont think its the O2, I guess I can try NTC. I was wondering if alt, charging, ground issues cause a wierd hunting idle problem. I know for a fact the VR is the alt is a little worn down and it was worn down unevenly. I should have replaced it but I threw it back in. :(. I have a new one waiting now but the phillip screw looks very intimidating. Thanks
