...if you're not too concerned about "optimum" performance...
...I'd go to a "Bus Boys" muffler shop, and order any old muffler with the same inlet/outlets as your old one. I don't know the size of the stock exhaust, by I had a 2.5'' exhaust made, and they used the muffler from an old Jeep Commanche pickup truck. It only cost $70 Canadian. The only problem is that the OEM muffler comes with the angled outlet so it fits the "over-the-axle" part of the exhaust. But, it took them a matter of minutes to rig something up to fit. So, I had a FULL 2.5'' exhaust (not mandrel bent :( oh well) with muffler for like $350 Canadian.
And besides....they can flare the ends of any pipe to make it fit a larger pipe, and the reverse, too. Thats not an issue.
A muffler is a muffler is a muffler, if you're just looking for a quick replacement. The only difference between one from a Ford Tempo or a Lambourghini Diablo (I'm exaggerating a bit lol) is the size of the inlets and outlets. Do NOT let them scam you out of money by saying "Oh, this is a SAAAAAB. They take SPECIAL, more EXPENSIVE parts that will take 6 weeks to ship in from Sweden along with a team of specially trained technicians."
They tried that on me, so I had a friendly word with them...
There's my 2 cents. I'll stop rambling now.
