That shaft is press-fit into the eccentric pulley. Don't make the mistake I did- DO NOT lubricate it. Sparingly lubricate the plastic "washer" that sits between the linkage mounting body and the pulley. If that ring o'plastic is missing, fabricate one from nylon or the pulley will work its way off the shaft again in the next year or less.
Your job will get much easier if your AC compressor has already been removed. If not, loosen the compressor mounting bolts with a 19 mm wrench and impact; usually three out of the four will loosen that way and the one right next to the intake manifold will require channel-locks or vise-grip pliers.
