Thanks for the feedback. The car uses the ceramic fuses. I can get the white, blue and red ones locally but local stores don't have the 5 amp yellow ones. The ride of the car is harsh, I'll do the shocks. The seat upolstery seems top be doing fine. The headliner needs replacing but the interior is clean enough that the new car smell is still there.
In early `83 bought the car off a Cadillac/Saab dealer show room floor in Detroit, with 15,000 miles, in pristine condition. For about 12 years I drove it to the farm in the summer. Then it sat in a garage for about 8 years (during that time I was driving an `82 3 door normally aspirated).
The storage garage got torn down a couple years ago and I decided to bring the car back into service. To do that, the motor, turbo, and clutch got rebuilt. It got tires. New front windshield tomorrow, and a few more items. I've only been driving the car for the past few weeks. It was worth the wait.
None of this makes any economic sense, I just love the car. I'm partial to the 900 coach and I think the 5 door turbo in the 900 body style is the strongest statement Saab cars make.
Thanks again for the tips.
I took these pictures today.
