vsfoxe is correct in his answers. And the alarm and central locking really require the remote. on the SPG, the driver's door lock was a switch thet triggered central locking, but not on the cvt. The remote brain is under the rear seat, toward the front. It's tucked WAY up under there. When you geta a remote, you will need to pull this unit and replace the chip in there (and the one in the remote) with numbers matching chips. These are mfg by alpine and I believe are still available from the dealer.
First get a Bentley (not Haynes) manual and also get a digital volt-ohm meter. With those, and a set of metric tools, you can find and repair most challanges you will face with the car.
