Vern is right. There are a few good threads to explain the problem and the fixes. I suggest you try the "hose & clamps", which costs almost nothing, before you spring for the replacement plastic tubes at $50 a piece.
In a nutshell, there is one motor that drives both sides of the seatback through flexible shafts. Each shaft runs through a plastic tube that holds it in place (connected to the motor and the drive gear). The plastic tube breaks, and the drive shaft is no longer connected. Either replace the plastic tubes (2 per seat at $50/each) or patch the break with hose & clamps.
Easy DIY.
