I did this on my 85 16t auto and also on my 86(RIP) 5-speed, The 86 looked more like the stock saab setup, were the 85 is missing the coolent port used on the 86 on up. But the 85 is missing the extra temp sensor, so the coolant line for the turbo can go in that front port. List of things you need: 1.Water cooled turbo, this can be used without coolent lines ontil you hook them up. also MAKE SURE THAT THE SPECIAL DOUBLE MALE connector is on the turbos bottom collent port I could not get one, They are English thread on one side and metric on the other(saab only). I coverted mine to english on both sides ordered this part from england.
2.Saab coolent lines, top one is banjo bolts but bottom one is female threads like most sink plumbing, On my 86 did not remove any extra metal tubing from the kit but on the 85 I basicly have two banjo fittings, hose claps and rubber coolent hose's on top and the bottom should bolt right up if you have a 5 speed if not read on, on the bottom I used a metal connector to splice the rubber line from the lower radiator hose to another rubber hose to the english female connector.
