900T CV: ok so i got the standard "old relay" issue with the flasher/turn signal. flashers work fine till i step on the brake, then they turn off (brake lights work fine). sounds like time for a new relay, but before i spend the $$$ let's test a good one out of the two 9000(s) (same saab number for the relay)
situation 1 original relay in 900T CV: everything works (hazzards and turn signals) but when brakes are depressed, the turn signal stops (hazzards continue to work)
situation 2 working relay from 1988 9000T placed in 900T CV: no turn signals work (at all!) but the hazzards do. remember this was working fine in the 9KT i pulled it from
situation 3 working relay from 1995 CSE: turns work fine (even with brakes depressed but hazzards ONLY operate right flashers!!! i did note if you HOLD the hazzard switch in both flashers will flash as everything is 100% good then with this relay.
so. no consistancy with the relay. i've cleaned contacts on the flasher switch...any other ideas? bad switch internally...anything to clean and assemble in there?
thanks.
