Personally I think parting out a perfectly good Saab because you "can't afford to keep fixing it" is about like putting your dog to sleep because you ran out of dog food. They aren't making any more of them and they're getting harder and harder to find, unless it's rusted 140k is just getting broken in. Are you planning on walking? If not, any car in this year/price range will require periodic repairs including the vaunted Japanese cars. The other alternative is making payments which costs a lot more. It sounds like you've crossed some arbitrary dollar threshold in your mind and somehow take it personally that the car has cost more than that. There isn't necessarily a pattern to repairs, the fact it has cost X so far is no indication it will continue to cost that much in the future-you could be in for a period of clear sailing--or not. Generally you can keep an old Saab going for about $100 a month, assuming you do some work yourself. If you can't or won't do it, at least sell the car to someone who will.
