I just replaced one on my 89 TC, there was only one connector - I recall a recent thread about modifying the sender for use with a guage as well as the light - justa few days ago. Both of my 89's have just the one connector on the sending unit. Sounds like the wrong part or one made for the dual purpose, if such a thing exists!
