Up north here, you learn to appreciate anti-sieze compound, do the work yourself so you don't overtighten the bolt, and replace your fuel filter regularly, especially if you frequently rotate grades and brands of gasoline. As far as Torx fasteners, well, they're everywhere so get used to them.
Or get an 8 valver.... The fuel filter's on top of the left front fender where you can get at it! (smiles) Just don't try to change the FF on one of these modern AWD contraptions where it's up above the six thousand piece rear suspension setup. I'll take a sticky Torx any day. That, and I don't usually use a torch in the presence of fuel fittings.
