So .. Car is a 93 900TC low miles.
The actuator on one side seems to have no resistance when you lift the top a bit . The other side you can feel the restance of the fluid.
I'm assuming the piston seals are shot.
Started in one taking the system out per Bently. The Torx at the top of the rear seat I can't get to without an L key. ... hardware store this week.
Fluid level looks ok but I can see a small shaft leak on the "good" actuator.
My questions are .. and I'm assuming new actuators are scary expensive
Can you reseal them?
Does everyone use the AeroShell Aviation fluid that is called out.
Thanks!
