Don't know where you are but check farm supply sort of stores. Here it would be places like Farm & Fleet or Fleet Farm. General retailers and auto supply places generally have 8 gauge or worse only it seems. The above places in the past always had 4 gauge and even 2 gauge cables it seems. Unless really long 2 gauge is probably way over kill and really does add a lot of physical weight. The 4 gauge should be more than good enough and are plenty heavy. Even the lower quality (higher gauge numbers) might be OK if cables not too long and not in really cold climate.
