I feel for you! The BS that NYS puts drivers of vintge cars through (such as having to surrender antique license plates upon sale) is enough to drive you up the wall. I'm in a slightly different situation, but still dreading the day my friendly wrench quits slapping stickers on for me (sometime soon, as soon as the dyno crap takes effect) I inherited a couple of cars including a '22 Model T Ford and a '29 Studebaker and a '27 Hupmobile. How the hell does the State think they're going to 'inspect' a Model T? I really dont know what I'm going to do - I could follow the lead of my uncle, who owns a '12 Stanley and go the no-sticker-take-my-chances route, but I can easily see the Hupp on a tow truck because of some hotshot 23 year old village cop 'just doing his job.'
