Cuz you know, it'll never come off if you don't. Hahaha. J/K. I had the same problem and I ended up actually breaking a 24" Snap-On breaker bar. It wasn't mine, but snap on tools have lifetime warranty so I was safe. Oh, and I had a 3 foot pipe on the end for leverage, but I didn't tell the snap on salesman that hehehe.
A note on torching bolts. Keep a big pepsi (not coke, cuz it sucks) bottle handy full of water and dump it on the bolt after it's red hot. The rapid cooling of the bolt will help it break loose better.
Also, I ended up rounding off one of the bolts. I can't remember the size of the bolt (17mm??) but what I did was take a socket that was the smaller SAE equiviant ( IE 1/2" is slightly smaller than 13mm) and hammered it onto the rounded bolt and continued on to remove it that way. I took another bolt off of my parts car to replace it.
Good luck, You'll probably need it.
