They both have a higher tolerance to heat, 180 F. vs. 160 F., although that may be splitting hairs. (77 is only 110 F.)
According to 3M, the general trim is designed for light headliners and the supertrim for heavy headliners, vinyl tops etc. Supertrim has more yellowish solvents though, so if using on light headliner be careful to control bleedthrough.
Be sure to use plenty in the concave corners over the rear seat and try not to overstretch the fabric there as I had to redo mine because it started letting loose in those corners 2 years later.
