Clutch pedal feels like new, what a difference

A while ago, the clutch on my 88 SPG with almost 300k miles was engaging very low. After reading a few posts, I got the feeling that the master cylinder was one of those things that rarely goes out. Well, my clutch and slave were recently changed so I figured what else could it be? I'm glad I changed it. I also gave it a new clutch pedal, both parts from eEuro. Now it feels like new. So if your car is over 200k, I would not hesitate to change it. Now I would like to renew any wear parts in the shifter to make it feel like new. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to change to give it a firmer feel, short of a short shift conversion?
