A number of weeks ago I checked my oil and it was ever so slightly low. So i put not quite a pint in. Several hundred miles later I check it and it seems at least a pint above the maximum. It doesn't smell much like gasoline, but that's the only thing I can figure. Somehow gas is getting in the crankcase. It does use too much gas and that would explain it, because it's tuned and running fairly well. But how would it get in there? Where would it leak? Its not like the old american cars that had a mechanical fuel pump bolted to the block, so - what's up with this?
