It was 211 out of 325. Little rust of the driver side front wheel well, little worse than my 91 900. Some on the hood. I'll be sure to check out the passenger side A Pillar.
Paid 1500 for it last night. Didn't take it to a mech, but it drove great. ~20 extra horse is really something...
I am going to garage this new one for a while and do some repairs.
Driver window (easy)
Driver door stays open if opened to far (tbd)
Passenger door opens in a weird way (haven't looked at it yet.)
No smoke blowing out of the tailpipe after it was warmed up, and accelerated nicely after 3k rpm!!! Pretty exciting for me.
Bought it with 188k miles.
P.S. What does TN stand for? The SAAB network?
Of course I have a cracked dash and a droopy headliner. I can do these faily easily.. I'll check the PS and tranny, although the tranny is very tight, I hear 93 was a good year for these trannys... Is this true?
Any cure for rust? Just newer parts from a junk yard? Sand blast and then paint it over? This generally must depend on the degree of the rust....
Oh well. Hopefully I can send pictures some time soon. Looks great!
