The 16V turbo transplant's almost complete! (into my '83 8valve). The engine fired up instantly and ran smooooooooth. Switched it off. 2 minutes later tried to start it - nothing. Went through every test in the Bentley (checking every pin of the ecu plug), and everything checks out perfect except the injectors aren't getting a signal. They're getting 12V power though. After completing the tests, I reconnect the computer, turn the key just for the fun of it, and it starts!
I then turn it off and....same problem - won't start now. I need some advice before I go out and buy a replacement computer. Could a bad ecu be intermittent like this?
Thanks guys! Really need to drive my SAAB - it's been 2.5 years!
