I would have thought the AMM would have done the trick, but not the case. Have you checked the Fuel Pressure Regulator? Pull the vacuum hose off at the intake and see if it smells like gas or any gas runs out of the hose. If not, put a vacuum on the hose( suck on it) and see if it holds vacuum. If any gas or it doesn't hold vacuum, you found the problem.
Have you checked the O2 sensor? See if it fluctuates between .2 and 1.0 volts with the engine running and the sensor plugged in. Stick a digital voltmeter probe into the connector and the voltage should spend about 1/2 of the time above/below 0.5 volts. If not, time for a new one.
You could also have injectors that are dirty and can't close. Try a bottle of Techron.
Another thing is a bad NTC(temp sensor), which is screwed into the head under the intake runners. Do a search on NTC and there are posts with the specs or look in Bentley if you have one. The resistance goes down as temp goes up. It tells the computer to give a richer mixture when cold. Usually a bad NTC will cause a 2-3k idle when warm, though.
Hooter valve won't cause rich running and vacuum leaks downstream of AMM will cause lean running.
