Watched the local radiator shop check my rad. last week. A quick check is(with the radiator out) to run a hose into the lower nipple. Seal it with a rag to force the all hose flow into the rad. If there is major clogging water will come out the overflow nipple with force before you see much coming out the pass. nipple. If it's not clogged most of the water will come out the upper pass. side nipple. They also say the lower tubes tend to clog first.
