Rebuilt auto transmission on EBAY

Hi
I have a 92 Turbo Convert. with an automatic. 118000 miles and I get worried about the transmission holding out. It is a great car, in really good shape. I came accross the factory rebuilt Transmision on Ebay. $750 for a factory rebuilt and free shipping... seems it might make sense to by this and stick it in the garage just in case?? The torque converter has some surface rust, do you think that matters??
Thanks!!
Bob
