I feel the guy selling them uses it as a ploy to get more money out of people :)
The problem is, the engine bay is a pretty bad location for a IC & I feel if it's 10 or 15 rowns, it's still going to heatsoak pretty fast.
A more benificial mod is to go with the larger IC pipes that I beleive they started in 89 or 90, the aluminum ones. Those reduce lag & it's very noticeable!!
Otherwise...... add a FMIC
