Hi, I'm undergoing the same therapy with my new 85 spg. I'm trying to understand the WOT continuity of the throttle position sensor. John K explained this put the LH in 'open loop', but I'd like to know what this means as I don't recall the explanation in Bentley. Right now, I'm still getting low boost (just barely into yellow); it seems to pull strong unless I put the throttle pedel all the way to the floor, then it just runs bad. Need a new vacuum unit on the distributor I know, and still fixing vacuum hose leaks and testing other things, but what is advantage of open loop? Thanks much. Tom
