the plastic triangle is held in place with the plastic pin which is really like a locking molly push pin.
get a small screwdriver and a larger thin one. take the small one and drive the point into the space (very small I know) between the ring and the plastic dome of the button, you should be able to leverage at about a 45 degree angle and the center of the pin will pop out/up? Like the butter ball turkey thing that pops out when done! then use the longer thin screwdriver and force under an edge and lever out. should go very easy.
You will then see two torx screw heads. remove on completely, back the other one out about half way, put the torx driver into the screw, smack the butt end of the driver towards the door, this should make the mirror pop off the out side of the door, and yet stop because the screw is still in the mirror, remove screw and mirro will be free, quick connects will be found to release the mirror or do R & R.
cheers
