I can't see the photo in the above post due to it being blocked by the IT police at work ("media downloads"). But when I put mine in I had an airflow front bumper, but I think the dimensions of that should be practically identical to the grill mounting surface on a standard '87+ bumper. The bottom of the grill had a rubber strip along it and I remember that rubber strip sitting very close, if not contacting, the grill mounting surface of the bumper cover. Perhaps the rubber strip is missing on the photo in your other post? Its maybe 1/4" to 3/8" tall. The other thing to note is that it overlaps the edge of the headlights by maybe 1/8", it won't effect light output though. The grill is made in two pieces, the flashy chrome or black chrome (which is the grill I used) outer part and a black plastic frame. I think when I modified mine I separated the two pieces and cut the frame to size, I might have had to cut it to fit around the headlights. Its pretty self-explanatory when you look at it though. The toughest part was making the brackets to screw it to the radiator cross member.
