no need to worry about the cut radio wires Posted by vvack0matic [Email] (#1443) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vvack0matic) on Sun, 13 May 2007 10:32:24 In Reply to: Slow Electrical Leak, tom, Sun, 13 May 2007 08:59:09 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
if there was one that was hot it would fry the hole wire leaving a thick godforsaken smell that would be noticed my your neighbors three blocks down, and after the wire burnt there would be no need to remove it because it will take care of itself.
about you battery drain, pop the caps on the battery itself and look to see how low the water level is in it, seeing it sits right next to the exhaust im sure its low, (fill it up)
and then if it had gotten to low the battery may be on the verge of dieing as in (dead celled) which would make a battery always lose power, it will progress faster as time passes,
a new battery would be in order.
and the new/used alt. may have at one time taken care of the power drain being in the being the old alt,s regulator bushings were bad, and now it was replaced with a ((hole new/used alt.)) which only had 5000 miles left in the regulators and now they to are whacked. might want to look at them.
