Would be curious how much the compression has changed since it is running better than when it first started. There have been other posts like yours that after a overheating incident the initial post HG job comp. numbers are very low.Probably due to 'stuck' rings. I have a neighbor mechanic who says that after a overheating you must drain the cat,clean out the cylinders, put a little ATF in in the cylinders and get the thing running again ASAP to blow the corrosive coolant and crap out of the rings and exhaust system.
