you had just reminded me of the
distribution block, but forgot totally about it
had a tricked out truck (one of them low-riders) that had used the duel
battery with the block
lights never dimmed but then i was running way less watts.
thanks for the words
cap and second battery.
jut a note about batteries, stinger came out with a dry celled battery that allows the battery to be mounted upside down, or on its side
its the kind of battery one can through anywhere.
it dose not use a acid core and will not explode
this will be the next step if the cap dose not work that is if i need the cap, ill know by next week where i stand with the power.
this is what the distribution block looks like
this one is a digital block.
the alt. runs to the center then the two batteries hook to the sided.
all current from the stereo runs off the one battery and the car runs off the other, if the alt can not keep up the one battery will die but the cars battery will be fine, and lights will never dim.
if the battery for the stereo dose drain all that will happen is the radio will shut off.
and the alt will keep plugging away at however fast it charges.
lest the cars battery is enough to keep the motor running.
