Replacing ABS m/cyl & valve body - tips / tricks?

My ABS has pushed me over the edge -- I'm replacing the master cylinder/pump assy & valve body w/ good used unit out of a 92 car. This will hopefully fix a long string of issues.
Anything in particular I need to look out for? I'm assuming I install the m/cyl, my new accumulator, the valve body, hook up the lines, bleed the system, and go, right? Or is there more to it?

If you're wondering why. Reached the last straw on 800 mile trip this weekend. Both Antilock and Brake Fluid lights randomly came on 2x while on the highway cruising, rock hard brake pedal, pump stuck constantly on. Pulled off, pulled relay, tapped pressure switch, etc. Only thing that would fix it was about 30-45 minutes of car off. Once it cooled down, fine. Did this once Friday night on the way, once Sunday midday on the way home. Simply too unreliable for a daily driver car.
To date I've replaced accumulator, relay, ECU, no corroded connections. There's something funky w/ valves, pump or pressure switches...
