I never know where to leave my feet after a five hour's drive or so. The thing with a 900 against a 99 is that the 99 has a special footrest and also that in the 99 I could slip my left foot to the left of the clutch and stretch my leg. That just won't work on a 900. The right foot is especially bad, as the tension from just resting on the gas goes up to your hip and causes all sorts of pain there.
I must be getting old. On the truck it was much better, sitting more straight up and on the cruise control. But then, the sixteen hour days drove me crazy. I never could stand getting up at five in the morning anyways.
Anyway, I always liked buying another beat up Saab, lift the floor mat and see that special dent in the floor pan where somebody rested his right foot.
