I just replaced my antenna (which had broken)on my 1985 Saab 900 with a replacement unit. The antenna looks okay, but the wire to connect to the lead coming through the car body is MUCH shorter than the OEM part's connector wire. I need a wire about 2.5 to 3 feet in length, male fitting at one end and female at the other.... does anyone know of any sources? The employees in the local Auto Parts stores and Radio Shacks just stare at me in a daze (well, more of a daze than usual).
