1) you may want to re-read the description in bently of the procedure for reading and erasing codes. the first flash, then switch 'off', is to start the code recall. to move on to the next, repeat switch on, then off. with engine running, you will only get the applicable codes (not no tach signal code). when you reach one long flash, followed by one long flash (0000) you are at the end. this is when you can clear the memory by switch on, till you get the three flashes. because your engine died, i guess you have a no spark/excess fuel situation, which will throw a code showing mixture fault ( and a cel while fault exists). clear it, take it for a drive, then check again to see if you have a code or not.
2) there are more places that can get wet and cause spark failiure than just leads and distributer. as was mentioned to you in the original posting, the coil is one. water has a way of working it's way into all kinds of places, given enough time. do all your connectors under the hood have their boots on? you may want to pull every little boot/connector and apply dielectric grease to every connection. also, are there any places where the wiring loom is a little iffy?
3) i noticed in one of your previous posts that your other c900 let you down badly because of a fuel pump failure, and that now your wife won't trust the car. i have to tell you, with the greatest kindness, that cars fail, with all those systems, there is no other option. they will ALL let you down, sometime or another. the good news is, when the fuel pump goes, you get a new shiney one, then you can actually feel good about how reliable that pump is. without replacing every part on the car with a new one, you are driving an old car, and occasionally parts will fail. good old AAA is pretty good about not holding grudges!
4) buy a honda-they are more reliable, and you can get a used one for not too much money-then sell me your saab!
