Mine are hex, I don't know if they were replaced by the indy that rebuilt a used trans to replace my original, or if the trans came that way. Getting them out with an open ended wrench was no problem. Getting the seal out with some heat and an 18" pry bar was not problem either. That is after I found out using heat was ok. What would we do without this board???
