Then look at posts that come up with my name on them, as I seem to be the biggest champion of this idea on here. Ones in June and Sept. 2005 looked like helpful descriptions of it.
The method is an easy way of pulling clutch components if hydraulics are disconnected or aren't working.
If you're going to pull engine and tranny, I'd remove clutch and pressure plate while engine is in car and hydraulics are working, unbolting slave cylinder from tranny but leaving its hydraulic line attached, then wire the slave cylinder off to the side while you're pulling the engine.
Then on reassembly your clutch system will have working hydraulics and no need to bleed or mess with anything.
Might want to pass a couple of long zip ties thru middle of slave and entirely around it and cinch up, to keep slave snug in case someone accidentally taps the clutch pedal while the car is apart.
