Bazil,
You're describing one of the most common complaints regarding the classic Saab 900 automatic transaxle (the Borg-Warner T37) with high mileage. The key here is that it shifts right once it warms up and the condition developed after years of proper performance. From my observations and experience this problem results from an accumulation of fine particles in the circulating ATF and is deposited as a paste-like material which impedes the smooth action of the valves, servos and clutch plates. When one disassembles the front or rear clutch on a well used T37 this dense material is found at the bottom of all the grooves of both the drum and hub and in the crevices of the servo bores and such. I believe that this material softens when warmed, like grease does, resulting in improved function. As it cools the goo re-solidifies and the symptoms return. Improved performance can sometimes be achieved by repeatedly flushing and re-filling the unit and replacing the filter or by doing a "running flush" (sounds nasty eh).
So I'm sorry but I can't offer you a simple adjustment or a silver bullet for this condition. Many guys, including Saabnutt, say that using an additive like the Lucas or Transgo products results in improved performance but (believe it or not) I've never tried them myself so I can't speak with authority there. Considering that your T37 evidently has 200,000 miles on it you could adopt the philosophy of "Might as well try it, got nothin to lose". You've gotten about 50,000 miles more from your T37 than most folks and that's almost certainly a testament to conscientious maintenance.
So keep changing the ATF and filter regularly and maybe consider an additive. You've got a T37 with 200K that's just a little sticky when cold. That aint bad. Cheers
