No, and maybe. Before kicking you over to the 9000 bulletin board, what else is up with the car? What model 9000 is it, which transmission does it have, does it ever get warm, how do you drive, and are any of your dash lights on? Do you go through a set of brake pads every 5,000 miles?
My '88 900 got 22 and that was with only three forward gears and a fuel injection system that can't compensate for temperature.
Replacing the oxygen sensor will make a difference if your oxygen sensor is dead or dying.
Now, it's off to the 9000 bulletin board with you! Good luck!
