You can certainly get another year out of it. You need to pop the top latches and open the top a crack to releive the tension on the rear curtain. Then, as mentioned earlier, you need to clean it REAL GOOD with acetone or alcohol. Then you can use any kind of strong adheesive (contact cement, weatherstrip adheesive [my favorite], shoo goo, etc.). The best adheesive is the glue that they use to mount rear-view mirrors to the inside of windshields--really strong! You can get it at NAPA. You'll probably need a few tubes as it only comes in tubes big enough to mount a r-v mirror. There is no need to remove the bonding residue from the canvass part of the window, just clean it real well. You'll need someone in the car to push out on the window from inside as you apply pressure from the outside. Let the glue set for a day or so and then add a VERY THIN bead of silicone caulk along the top edge to keep water out. I did this repair to my 86 convertible's rear curtain about a decade ago and it's still holding up.
