Liquid wrench penetrant (spray)
15/16 deep socket for draining rad
1.5 foot long snipe pipe
drain pans
lots of silicon hose to replace black rubber crap
brake bleeding kit
mechanics' vice sturdily mounted on a big workbench
2 jacks
4 jack stands
spark plug socket
Torx security bits (for distributor hold-down under valve cover)
full set of deep and short metric and imperial sockets
13 mm crows foot wrench for clutch line connection at clutch slave
there's also this cheapie little wrench kit - the handle is about 3 inches long, red plastic handle, and comes with a bunch of interchangeable bits. the handle is a ratcheting wrench and is perfect for the 3 allen head bolts that hold the clutch slave to the tranny case. this way you dont have to fart around with an allen key except for breaking and final tighten.
old brake pads to use as spacers between upper control arm and frame when working on front suspension.
electric impact gun
air storage tank ie 7 gallons or so or a compressor.
stereo in the garage
beer fridge too
rolls of hand towels
old rags to pick up spilled oil, antifreeze, etc
cardboard to use as poor mans creeper (works great, lower profile than creeper, absorbs liquids too)
plastic goggles to protect your eyes from dirt while under the car
its great fun....
