When ECUs fail what exactly happens? - it seems like some (but not all) of the maps get corrupted. What occurs when a ECU gets "rebuilt"? Can you just re-burn the EEPROM? Lastly, who is a good source for used ECUs?
I have an 89S with a bad ECU (again) and am looking for one, a cheap replacement and two a long-term solution since I hope to keep the car 10 more years.
