When I read RayF's post, the first thing to pop into my mind was "battery cables"
Last year sometime, I replaced the battery -> starter -> alternator cables in a friend's c900. This was due to cracked insulation and noticable corrosion on the old ones. Her first comment the next time we talked was "I barely have to touch the key to start the car now."
If that (or the battery itself) isn't the problem, read through the rest of Ari's response- he knows what he's talking about.
